Prometheus 2 Given The Go Ahead

After the hugely disappointing Prometheus was released in 2012, rumours have been circulating about a possible sequel.

We can now reveal that Prometheus 2 has been given a greenlight.

The question is what we shall expect to see in this sequel.

As the first film was supposed to be an Alien prequel, there really was a sheer lack of the ‘Aliens’ that we all know and love until the last few minutes.

Personally, this was disappointing and the sequel should not, and hopefully will not, let us down again with the lack of the terrifying Aliens.

Michael Fassbender (Shame, 12 Years a Slave) has been revealed to be reviving his role as the model synthetic David 8 and Noomi Rapace (The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo) will reprise her role as Elizabeth Shaw.

The rest of the cast has yet to be revealed.

Michael Green has been announced to be writing the script, whether or not the Green Lantern screenwriter will be able to create an exciting script is something we can only wait to find out.

The plot at this current moment is unknown, but will the film carry on where the first one finished with David and Elizabeth driving away and an Alien being born? Or will it simply start at a brand new point?

No one can answer these questions yet.

The film is scheduled to be released on March 4, 2016.

We will keep you updated as more information is released.
